Day 1: Maun to Mankwe Tented Retreat

Upon your arrival at Maun Airport, a designated driver will be there to greet you, facilitating your transfer to the lodge. This journey lasts approximately two hours, and offers an incredible introduction into the landscape.

Once you reach the lodge, take a moment to settle in and savour the scenic surroundings while sipping on some refreshing beverages. The lodge has an array of facilities and amenities, with the two swimming pools and deck area being a firm favourite among guests.

Later in the evening, embark on a captivating game drive through the lodge's private road network, pausing for sundowners at a picturesque location within Mankwe's concession. Traditionally, the team stops on the banks of a large waterhole frequented by animals.

Conclude the adventure with a brief night drive back to camp, where a welcoming campfire awaits. Dinner will be served in the elegant dining area, marking the beginning of your first night in the enchanting wilderness of Botswana.

Day 2: Mankwe Tented Retreat

A early morning wake-up call will be accompanied by coffee and rusks at the lodge's main area, setting the stage for your departure on a morning game drive through Mankwe Tented Retreat's protected concession.

Following the morning activity, return to the lodge for a satisfying breakfast, followed by some downtime at the lodge. Do take advantage of the wonderful pool bar and deck area.

A delectable lunch will be served later in the day, preparing you for an afternoon game drive that includes sundowners and a night drive back to camp. Spend time in the stylish boma before heading to the main area for dinner.

Day 3: Mankwe Tented Retreat to Camp Savuti

After breakfast, embark on an adventurous two-hour road transfer to the Khwai Airstrip, where a scenic flight awaits to transport you to Camp Savuti.

Upon landing at Savuti Airstrip within Chobe National Park, your guide from Camp Savuti will be ready to greet you. Experience a delightful 30-minute transfer through the park, before arriving at the camp nestled along the banks of the Savuti channel.

Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by your host and provided with a briefing, followed by a delicious lunch. Take the time to settle into your comfortable tented room built on a raised wooden structure.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a sunset game drive, featuring a sundowner stop at a secret spot along the route, allowing you to bask in the beauty of the renowned Savuti - an uncrowded and game-rich region in Chobe.

Return to camp, freshen up, and enjoy a delightful dinner under the Botswana night sky.

Day 4: Camp Savuti

Start your day with an early morning wake-up call, followed by a continental breakfast, preparing you for an intrepid morning game drive.

Explore the expansive Savute Marsh during an extensive game drive, and pause for coffee and rusks at a designated stretch point within the park. Spot elephants enjoying a dust bath, large birds of prey and track the infamous lions of the area.

Return to camp for a hearty lunch, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind and appreciate the scenery from your private wooden viewing deck.

Day 5: Camp Savuti to Maun/Kasane
