Begin your journey with 3 nights at the serene Nyala Safari Lodge. Luxuriously comfortable chalets overlook the pool, bushveld, or river. The lodge's signature wrap-around deck follows the curves of the Mohlabetsi River and is the perfect place to relax while spotting birds and wildlife.
Your adventure continues with 2 nights at Chacma Bush Camp in the rugged wilderness of the Maseke Game Reserve. Set within 8000 hectares of pristine bush, this intimate camp offers just 3 chalets for an intimate and authentic safari experience. Both the pool and dining area overlook a nearby waterhole, providing endless wildlife viewing opportunities.
At both lodges, twice-daily game drives ensure exciting encounters. Start your mornings with coffee breaks in the wild, and end each day soaking up the magic of the African bush while sipping on sundowners.

Upon arrival at Jejane Gate at 13:30, self-drivers will leave their cars at the gate and then be escorted on a 40-minute drive to the lodge.
Welcome drinks and warm smiles await you upon arrival. You will receive a short briefing from the camp host before being shown to your spacious and luxuriously comfortable rondavel-style chalet under the trees.
Lunch will be served, after which you will depart for your afternoon game drive. Your guide will pack a cooler box with your choice of drinks, which you'll enjoy during a sundowner stop somewhere spectacular on the afternoon/evening game drive.
For three hours, you'll be guided through the vast wilderness of Balule, while discovering the wildlife of the area. Return to the lodge for dinner, and a campfire boma session beneath the stars listening to the sounds of the bush all around you.

Awaken to the dawn chorus, followed by a quick coffee. Depart for your morning game drive as the colours of the sunrise splashes across the sky.
Upon returning to camp, breakfast will be served. Enjoy some relaxation time beside the pool or have an afternoon siesta. Nyala boasts a lounge area, boma, swimming pool, and outdoor seating spaces overlooking the Mohlabetsi river bed.
Lunch is served later followed by an afternoon/evening game drive complete with breathtaking sundowners.
The evening game drive provides a window of opportunity to spot nocturnal creatures.
Return to camp to enjoy an evening beneath the stars and a three course dinner.

Rise and shine to the morning birdsong. Enjoy a quick coffee before departing on your morning game drive, where another day of exciting sightings awaits you.
Return to camp to enjoy a good meal, followed by an afternoon siesta, or a spot of birdwatching around the lodge.
Spend your afternoon unwinding and reading beside the pool, relaxing in the lounge, or viewing wildlife from the deck.
Lunch will be followed by an afternoon/evening game drive. Enjoy the setting sun with something cold and icy in hand during your sundowner stop.
After your game drive, return to camp to enjoy the crackling campfire, a three course dinner and your last blissful night at Nyala Safari Lodge.

Start your day with an early wake-up call, followed by your favourite hot drink and some homemade rusks. Prepare for your last game drive with the Nyala Safari Lodge team, and return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.
After breakfast, there'll be time to relax and freshen up for your onward journey to the Maseke Balule Game Reserve.
Upon arrival at Chacma Bush Camp, you'll receive a comprehensive briefing from the camp host before being shown to your spacious chalet. A delicious lunch served in the main area, where you might be treated to a delightful display by the resident elephants as they frolic at the nearby waterhole.
Later in the afternoon, embark on an exciting evening game drive. Your knowledgeable guide will prepare a cooler box stocked with your preferred drinks that you will enjoy during your sundowners stop.
After a few hours of enthralling sightings, you will return to camp for a sumptuous dinner and evening of stargazing.

Upon your return to camp, relax and enjoy a breakfast to refuel for the day's adventures. Unwind poolside while overlooking the waterhole in front of camp. The waterhole is a drawcard for kingfishers, large mammals, and the occasional predator.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a satisfying lunch before embarking on an afternoon/evening game drive. Cap off your explorations with your evening sundowners in a magnificent spot out in the wild.
Return to camp for an evening beside the fire, enjoying the Milky Way overhead. Swop stories of the day's encounter while relishing in a delectable three-course dinner, marking your final night at Chacma Bush Camp. Enjoy the calls of the wild as you drift off to sleep.
